23:44 NATIONAL DAY PREVIEW!!! haha...i'm going to just type the entire entry in red though today's not the actual national day.well,i just went to the national day preview with routing and it was so fun!haha :) think we went a bittt late because the queue for the shuttle bus was realllly long.but we still manage to amuse ourselves while waiting for the buses to come back. it was a nice and clear day.no sun.no sunburns.hehe.me and rt were like lil kids opening their christmas presents as we ramage through the funpack.items are: -4 packs of drinks -a mini,powerful,handheld fan -a nokia 3250..................torchlight :( -many small packs of snacks -plastic clappers -flag -cap with a flag logo that can light up and many other more....... there's electrico who sang us 3 songs,kallang wave and the grand arrival of the RED LIONS!!!...of course there's the most exciting F-16 fighter jets that flew past the stadium!it was roaring and i just love the way i can feel the vibrations of the jets!!!there's also the Apache helicopter that flew after the jets...COOL!then we have the very neat contingents with the smart looking officers from SPF,RSN,RSAF,SCDF and many more...the performances were gd too (: but the FIREWORKS were even better!haha...so colourful and 'noisy'....HAHA.but the downside is the fact that i was showered with the ashes of the fireworks as we were seated right below them...suay.but never mind, i still had an enjoyable night after all. but something did happen just as we were making our way back home.we wanted to walk to kallang mrt station from the stadium and decided to use the best way:follow the crowd.btu i guess this was a badchoice for today.we ended up walking through this ulu alley that happen to be geylang lorong 8.at first we din notice anything weird though we did see some hotels...but as we walked further down,the hotels just started to pop out EVERYWHERE and we saw lots of sneaky looking men loitering around the streets...u get what i mean...at that moment i was so envious of the girl in front of us who had her bf to protect her while we 2 young girls had to depend on ourselves.we got a bit scared and started to walk faster,passing by many men who were there with a reason we all knew so well...luckily we finally got to the main street and far away fromt the dark and errie alley...really scared us,though we knew there were others(not many) who were on their way home from ndp and we wun just get abducted from the streets or anything.but it just scared us anyway.didnt want to think what may happen.too terrible to think so it.luckily we still got home safely... (: tmr have to continue with being a mugger.sians. |
